Britt's Pre-review of The Starlight Prophecy by Linden Morningstar

The very first time I actually explored Goodreads, instead of using it soley to keep track of the books I've read/want to read, I stumbled upon their giveaways. I immediately entered about twenty. The very first one I entered, I picked because the cover was eye catching. And to my surprise the next day, I saw this little beauty:

So I revisited the blurb, to see what I'd won, and was pleasantly surprised to find out it was the book that caught my eye the day before.

The giveaway ended February 29th 2016, and it arrived today March 16th 2016. So the author shipped this off in an amazingly timely manner. And, when it arrived it came with a bookmark, promoting another book of his which also looks interesting!
But to top it all off, when I opened it up, I saw this:

Now, I'm already a happy camper so I sit down to read the first couple chapters and find my first criticism.

The cover is made on the soft copy, in some way that you leave fingerprints where ever you touch. Now this isnt 'horrible', but as its a signed copy I'd like to be able to keep it in great condition.

After the reading the first chapter, I am intruiged. I'm not hooked, but I don't usually target Science-y Fantasy. The fact that the story is based around a group of 5 women, and one of them is instantly my favorite, a spunky Amazon, named Mad, helps a lot. I'm a sucker for a good heroine group.

So keeping my fingers crossed that I enjoy it as much as I think I will :)!

Peace, Love & Happy Reading Ladies and Gents.
And with that, I leave you with this:

If you're a dreamer, come in.
If you're a dreamer, a wisher, a liar,
A Hope-er, A Pray-er, a magic bean buyer...
If your a pretender, come sit by my fire,
For we have some flax-golden tales to spin.
Come in!
Come in!
Come in!
Brittaini Over & Out!
