Jem's review of Warrior by Karen Lynch

Warrior has been my most anticipated release of the year. I mean I, along with countless other Karen Lynch fans, have been impatiently awaiting this book since Rogue released last October. That's been a whole year of counting down the days, hours, minutes and seconds until we could get our grabby little hands on it. But let me tell you, that wait has been well worth it as Warrior was everything I hoped for, expected and more.

Some people may say that Romeo & Juliet is the greatest love story written but (and don't go attacking me here as everyone is entitled to their own opinion) Sara Grey and Nikolas Danshov's story is the greatest love story I've read. I wasn't sure it was possible to fall in love even more with this story after reading it all from Sara's POV in the Relentless series. How wrong was I!

Move over every other book boyfriend, real boyfriends and husbands (sorry to my other half) but Nikolas has stolen my heart, my breath and me. If you want to know how jealous I am of Sara on a scale of 1 to 10, well let's just say it's 100.

If you have read the Relentless series then you'll know that feeling of wanting to know what Nikolas was thinking and feeling through so many parts of the books. Well in Warrior we finally get to discover what he really thought all those times Sara kept disappearing and finding trouble. Trust me, there were definitely some surprises in store and a few tears in my eyes moments too, but really this book more than lived up to my expectations of what I expected and wanted from Nikolas's POV.

I hate putting spoilers in my reviews so sometimes miss out on what I really want to say. However from the blurb of the book you should already know that Sara is Nikolas' mate. But Nikolas has been an undefeated Warrior for 200 years so to suddenly discover his mate, and in someone who doesn't want his protection makes it hard for Nikolas. There were so many times in Relentless, Refuge and Rogue that Nikolas came across as surly and rude, however we finally get to discover the real reason behind why he was acting like this. We also get to see the many mis understandings there were between the two of them. To me Karen Lynch is a genius for having written such a fantastic book, following all that happened in the Relentless trilogy but from another view point. It wasn't boring or a re hash of the other books at all, it was truly something enjoyable and magical to read.

Now your next question may be, do I need to have read the Relentless series before reading Warrior? Well, I guess you could just read Warrior first and move onto the Relentless series, but for me the enjoyment is all in falling in love with all the characters in Relentless, Refuge and Rogue and then rediscovering it all again, but with a different perspective from Nikolas. I also think there are certain points and scenes that may be spoilt by reading Warrior first, as a lot of the suspense in Relentless and the following books is wondering what will happen next and watching a beautiful romance develop.

All three of the Relentless books are already on my yearly re read list (and not many books actually make it there for me to re read every year) and Warrior has also been added straight to that list. It has been a very long time since a book and a series has captured my imagination and attention as much as this whole series has me. I've loved every minute of reading them and I will carry on reading them for a long time yet to come. I feel like Warrior really was a treat to the fans from Karen Lynch but I also now feel like the series would not be complete without this book. It definitely gets the full five star rating from me and honestly, I can't see how anyone else would not enjoy this book.

If there is one series you need to have read in your life then this is it and I can't wait to see how everyone falls head over heels for Nikolas after reading Warrior. This is now one of my everlasting favourite books.

Jem's review of ABOVAM by Karen Tomlinson

Wow!

That word just sums up this whole book for me! But I feel this book deserve a whole lot more than just one word to describe it. So let me give you my thoughts on A Bond of Venom and Magic by Karen Tomlinson and hopefully once you've read this you'll click the link below to buy your copy.

I was lucky enough to be given an early copy of this book to read, and boy how lucky am I because if there is just one book in your life that you need to read, then this is it! This book is one of the best books that I have read in a while. Not only is it a breathtaking story, but it is very well written and edited.

This book grabbed me right from the very first few pages, and you just know that when a book does that you won't be able to put it down until you've consumed it all in one sitting, which is exactly what I did. ABOVAM has it all, action, fantasy, adventure, one hot, brooding, swoon worthy fae male and a building romance that'll have you begging for more.

Diamond, who is our main character is the perfect heroine. Yes, she is young and naive, but she has led a very sheltered and protected life until she is suddenly thrust right into the action and dangers of her world. I think she actually grows and adapts very well, especially with all the secrets she suddenly discovers about herself.  Towards the end of the book I think she'd really started to become a strong woman, rather than just a naive girl and I'm really looking forward to seeing more of her character development, flaws and all, as really that's what makes the best characters in books that they're not all perfect and I think Karen Tomlinson has written some great characters.

Hugo (the brooding, swoon worthy fae) is a complex character and I can't wait to discover more about him in future books. I found myself wondering at points during the book, do I like him? By the end I'd made my decision and I can see the reasons he is the way that he is and that a lot of his actions are because he is protecting himself and those he cares deeply about. I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens next with him, Diamond and a lot of the other characters too.

The world building in this book is another thing that has been well perfected. This really is one of those books where you can imagine yourself right in the action. I could clearly see the scenes and surroundings in my minds eye whilst reading and it really did transport me away to another world. That cover is also an exquisite piece of art and really catches your eye. I can't wait to have the paperback copy of this book and to place it right there on my bookshelf so I can see it everyday.

This book gets the full five stars from me for enjoyment, character and world building, fantasy (guys, how could I forget to mention there are dragons in this book, my favourite), action and romance. What more could you ask for?

I think I am still recovering from the book hangover reading this gave me, but to me that's the sign of a good book because it drew me in to its pages and embedded itself firmly into the depths of my mind that I won't forget it. I'm now impatiently awaiting the next book, and even though I know that'll give me another book hangover, it's more than worth it for having the chance to read something so amazingly beautiful and awesome. Seriously, buy this book now and step into it the wonderful treasure that is A Bond of Venom and Magic.

The St. Sisters review of Broken Compass by Jaymin Eve

From USA Today Bestselling Author, Jaymin Eve, comes a new chapter in the Supernatural Prison World ...

Maximus Compass is a vampire without direction. Without heart. And without soul. He lost his true mate in the great battle against the dragon king, and now must face life alone.

And yet … something is happening to his agony. It’s fading away, leaving him with barely a memory of the female he believed to be his one and only.

As his mind clears he starts to wonder if the mate bond had been nothing more than a manufactured ploy? This suspicion explodes within him right around the time he runs back into a certain wolf shifter.

Mischa Lebron is a complication he doesn’t need in his life. He can’t erase her from his mind though, and while memories of his supposed true mate continue to fade into mere shadows, his one night with Mischa is blazingly strong. But they’re not of the same supernatural race, so there’s no way for a true bond to exist between them.

Right?

When an old threat rips apart their pack, Maximus will come to realize that he would do anything to save Mischa. That the mate he thought was perfect and precious was nothing on the shifter he walked away from. Now Maximus truly has everything to lose.

Be warned that this may be a long ass review as both myself & Britt have reviewed Broken Compass, but when you've got a book as wonderful as this it's awesomeness is hard to condense to a few word's - J

When Jaymin Eve said that she was going to carry on the supernatural prison series with books for the rest of the quads & Louis, I literally jumped for joy, and did the booknerd dance (c'mon you've got bring out the booknerd dance for anything exciting that's book related). Whilst this book, and the rest of the books she's writing in this world, will not centre on Jessa & Braxton (my two favourite lead characters EVER) we still get to see them popping up in the book. To be honest, I fell in love with pretty much all the other characters in the series any way, bar a few, so I'm just glad Jaymin is continuing with this world.

It feels like forever since Dragon Mated was released, when it was actually only a few months. However I was able to jump straight into Broken Compass without needing to refresh my memory as to what has happened previously. Jaymin has mentioned that you don't need to have read the previous three books in the series to read this book as it's a stand alone, and I agree that you could read this book and not have to worry about what's happened previously. But then I think of how fantastic the first three books are and think that you should seriously read those books anyway as you're missing out on a load of awesomeness.

Broken Compass is Mischa & Max's story, Max is the vampire in the quads (Brax's brother) and Mischa is Jessa's sister and a wolf shifter. At the end of Dragon Mated, Max's mate Cardia was killed and we discovered that Mischa was pregnant with Max's child. I know, shocker huh! Max left town before Mischa had a chance to tell him as he needed to clear his head. Now we all know from any paranormal story that losing your mate is enough to turn you insane, if it doesn't kill you first. Your mate is the other half to your heart, your yin to your yang, your world, your soul and your one & only true love. There was one big question through most of the first three Supernatural Prison series. Is Cardia really the true mate of Max? I think most of us fans were really hoping she wasn't. First she was a bitch of the first class, second she did not try to meld into the Quads and Jessa's pack and third, she did not fit in anywhere, at all. I have to say that I may have breathed a sigh of relief when she died as particularly with Mischa being pregnant, I could tell it was going to get messy.

Now Mischa was another character that I, and I know a lot of fans had some ambivalent feelings towards. She's Jessa's sister, but for most of her life she never knew she was a shifter as she was living in the human world and she never even knew she had a twin. Now in Dragon Mystics, Mischa did some pretty stupid stuff, however in Dragon Marked I think we got to see a better side of her and maybe some more explanation into why. In Broken Compass we learn why Mischa acted the way she did and yes, the reason totally makes me forgive her for that. Also as this book is written in dual POV's from both Max & Mischa, which I totally love by the way and we should get more books written like this, we learn what makes Mischa tick, without her being overshadowed by the kickass and snort out loud thoughts of Jessa to divert our attention. Mischa is just as strong and stubborn as Jessa, but in different ways. Jaymin has done very well to write a character that can live up to the awesome (in my eyes) Jessa and lead a story and make us laugh in the way that Jaymin's characters are well known for doing. I warmed to Mischa so much in this book that she's now one of my favourite characters. Yes, I am now #TeamMischa

Jaymin has written another heart stopping, edge of your seat, unputadownable, don't dare interrupt me or you may get hit, book here. The action and story had me on a knife edge most of the way through the book and whilst we still had the 'piss yourself laughing' comments, we also had some more serious moments too and ones that had me catching my breath as to what would happen next. I really didn't think that Jaymin could top any of her previous books, but I think she may have gone and done it. I gulped this book down in one sitting and didn't stop to do anything, not even pee, that's how much I loved it.

If you're already a fan of Jaymin Eve then what are you waiting for, read this book already! If you've not read any books by Jaymin Eve yet then what are you waiting for, read them now! Trust me, you won't regret it. In fact I expect you'll thank me for introducing you to them ;) This is one of those books that you won't regret reading and that you'll want to pick up every year to read again.

Now to impatiently await for Jaymin's next book, which I'm hoping will be Louis story as I need to know what happens with him next.

Hey Rocking readers,
Brittaini here!
First I just want to say I wish I could ditto everything JemDazzle said but I actually DO have to say *something* to make my review space my own! Sooooo...
I don't even know where to start with this one. I knew.. KNEW cardia was a fake. That's probably my favorite confirmation. I always knew she was a snake. But I lived the way Jaymin twisted it. It was like blindeside -BAM- in yo' face. I can't wait to see how her sister plays into the next book.

Mischa: Now I always loved her character, I didn't know why; couldn't put a finger on it, but I did. I would defend her in fan debates and even easily forgave her when doodle head had her enslaved. I was so happy to see her finally accepted and come into her own. Jess is cool, but everyone already lives her. Mischa was just more relatable to me. I always knew she was a true mate too! So excited for this character.

I'm just going to say I LOVE Louis and his manly manliness, and when he gets his mate I will cry. Cry tons and tons of jealous tears.

The pregnancy stuff was perfectly written, and much needed. I cannot wait to see what compass babies mean for the future.

All in all it was another slam dunk for Jaymin! I wouldn't have missed it for the world.
I'm itching to get my hands on the next one.

PS Jaymin if your reading this, Louis needs to stay S-I-N-G-L-E until I can finagle my way into fiction land and beat off the other bitches xD

Jem's review of Maggie by Mya O'Malley

maggie

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to share your home with an unearthly spirit who can’t find closure? Living on the edge of a cemetery with souls dating back to the 1700s would be enough to spook anyone, but Naomi finds it oddly romantic, and becomes inspired to write her next novel. Why not, when her muse, Maggie, calls to her from beyond her own window? After all, the story couldn’t possibly be as complicated as Naomi’s own love life. Torn between Ryan, the mysterious and seemingly perfect man she just started dating, and Bryce, the sexy single dad who recently moved in next door, Naomi must navigate the tangled web of dating—all while trying to solve the mystery of Maggie’s death. When things turn dangerous, Naomi quickly learns whom she can trust and, more importantly, whom she can’t. Will she be able to write Maggie’s story and finally give Maggie the peace she deserves?

So I've just finished reading Maggie by Mya O'Malley and I just fell in love with this seat gripping, suspenseful book.
I love paranormal books, when I say love I'm not kidding as about 95% of the books I read are paranormal, but I have never been a fan of books with ghosts in so I went into reading this book with trepidation. I don't know what I was so worried about as this book was awesome.

Naomi, who is the main character, was a sweet, but stubborn (in a good way) female lead. She was determined not to back down from her story or the investigation and I admired her for that as no matter how dangerous it got for her she was going to see it through to the end.

I don't want to mention any of the other characters as I feel that it could give away spoilers, but each and everyone that we were introduced to had a part to play in the story and they were all characters that were fleshed out & had substance to them. One of my pet hates are secondary characters who are flimsy and are just there in a story because the author needed to fill it out. I'm happy to say that Mya has not fallen foul to that in this book, or any of her other books which I've read so far.

This really was a beautiful story which I enjoyed reading. It kept me on my toes as just when I thought I knew what was going to happen next we're thrown one curveball after the other. I really had no idea how the book was going to end and it had me on the edge of my seat right to the very end. That made a change as normally I find I can guess where the book is heading, but there really was no chance of that with Maggie.

This is definitely a book that I'll be going back to re-read, and as someone who's not a fan of ghost stories, that's high praise from me indeed. Maggie gets the full five stars from me, so why don't you go & try it out yourselves and see what an amazing read this is.

Jem's review of From Burning Ashes by Stacey Marie Brown

This war is not being played on a battlefield.

Killed by the man she loves, not even death is kind to Zoey.
Neither life nor her fae powers will let her go in peace.

In this final installment, Zoey’s strength, determination, and trust are put to the ultimate test. In the fight to protect the people she loves and stop DMG from experimenting on fae, humans, and animals to create soldiers, she learns the reality of how far Dr. Rapava will go to achieve his ultimate mission.

Of course, Rapava is not the only one willing to go to extremes. Vadik is hunting Ryker, and there is nothing he won’t do to get back the property he feels is his: both Ryker and the Stone of Destiny.

To end one evil, Zoey might have to make a deal with another. One she won't be able to get out of. And it could be the worst decision she ever made.

I've been waiting for what has felt like forever for the last book in the Collector Series, especially after the way Stacey Marie Brown ended the third book in the series, Across The Divide. What an epic, teetering on the edge, hanging on by your fingernails cliffhanger that was!

Needless to say I was super excited when I heard that From Burning Ashes was just around the corner and as soon as it was released was straight on Amazon downloading it to my kindle.
I loved this book and it lived up to my expectations, much like the others in the series. We jumped straight back into where ATD left off and the book immediately had me on the edge of my seat and that lasted through the whole thing.

All of my favourite characters were back and had major parts to play, my favourite has to be Sprig, the honey loving sprite monkey. He brings some light heartedness to what is actually quite a dark story line. But apart from the humour that he brings to the story, what I love about Sprig is that he has the biggest heart for such a tiny monkey and is as loyal as they come. He cares about Zoey, Ryker and the rest of the Collector family, even Cryogen (well just a bit but I'm sure he wouldn't admit that)

“Suuupperrspprriittee,” Sprig sang. “I’m so badass. Like a honey-crunch, double-dipped-doughnut, rolled-in-sugar, fried-in-honey badass. Bees will be my pollen posse.”

Zoey is one of my favourite female leads, she is tough, which she has to be with all that she's gone through, but she has the biggest space in her heart to accept people and trust them too. I love how she has grown and developed so much through the series and in the culmination of her story she has really shone through, for me, as a true heroine. Stacey has really written a character that deserves respect and is someone we could look up to. The things that Zoey has experienced and gone through in her life would be enough to make anyone crumble and close in on themselves, but Zoey has the strength and the people around her, to fight through it all and still have a decent sense of humanity about her.

Sometimes life came out of nowhere and clobbered you, tearing down your preconceived ideas and prejudices, till all you could see was the truth behind the labels.

Now to Ryker, the yummy, super hot, fierce Viking that I find myself fantasizing about. Wow, Stacey has written one of the hottest characters ever. In the first book of the series, I'll admit that I wasn't his biggest fan but I fell for him, BIG time, in the second book and by the third he'd wormed his way into my heart. In FBA, I just want to run off with him (though I think I'd have to actually be Zoey to get him to do that) He is the perfect partner for Zoey in all ways and he really comes through for her in this book.

And from burning ashes, I rose again.

This book rounded off the series perfectly, it closed down pretty much all the threads of the story that were open and there was even a surprise visit from a character from The Darkness Series, Stacey's other series which runs parallel to this series and is also set in Seattle.

I'm hoping though that this is not the last of Zoey, Ryker, Sprig & Cryogen that we'll see. There was some unfinished business left with the stone which had me hoping that maybe, just maybe, Stacey will write another series somewhere down the line that includes them and hopefully Ember, Eli and the rest of The Darkness Series crew. Now that would be an epic story which I would love to read. In the meantime I know that she is working on West's story (from The Darkness Series and if you haven't read those yet then now's the time) to be released in Fall 2016 so I will be impatiently awaiting that.

I think Stacey ended this series perfectly and its definitely one on my list that I'll go back to and reread. Now I'm off to go fantasize about Ryker, me and a Chevy Chevelle car..........

Britt's Review of The Dawn Trilogy by Komali da Silva

Howdy Hooligans!
To start off I'm going to mention, I received this trilogy straight from the author after winning them at a release party. They were delivered before any of my other winnings, so #PromptnessPoints to her!

At first, I didn't expect to like them. I normally shy away from Angel/Religious fantasy. But, because I won them and I want to show love to the generosity of the authors I win things from, I knew they were getting read regardless. I shoved them in the middle of my current reading list. And Brittaini now, wants to go back and JackSlap past Brittaini between the eyes. It so deserved better.

Now in true Brittaini fashion, I started this Trilogy, and didn't stop until it was done. All three books in 18hours, I could not stop. So this will be a review of the box set, not the individual books. I'll try to keep my chin flap silent in spoilers, but as always I make NO promises :). If your spoiler sensitive, but your still here because your intrigued take my word on this.

If you enjoy YA. If you dream of Guardian Angels, or Demons. If you like seeing a heroine get put through the ringer and never give up. Then take my advice buy the books <3

After this point, my spoiler filters may falter.

Okay so we start out meeting Dawn, our heroine. So I'll give you a little blurb on her :).

"Dawn Huntington wants what every girl wants, a sweet sixteen birthday party with her friends, family, and some hot boys, but fate has other plans. On the night of Dawn's sixteenth birthday, she witnesses a crime she can't turn her back on, and the decisions she makes that night will change her life forever. "

Dawn Impresses me from the get go. Her moral compass is amazing at 16 to do what she does right off the bat! Most grown women run from that kind of confrontation but she just charges in in outrage. Her inner courage obviously shines. However, I feel when it comes to her emotions, she has no idea how manage them at all. She is strong when required, but she is a wallower. That is about my only complaint, and eventually she grows out of that, so I can totally get behind her as a character. She is put through so much, but in the end following her heart gets her what she deserves.

Now there are some GREAT secondary characters. Dawn's blood sister A is such an amazing person. I want to cry for Nate the Great for a year. A more perfect boy next door there never was. Jan is such a realistic little sister. A lot like mine actually. (Dawn is brown hair and green eyes like me, and my little sister is blonde blue eyes like Jan, ha-ha what a kawinkiedink, new reason to fan girl lol) Bonita definitely pulls the crazy quota. Aunt Meg and Gram Grams are both wacky wonderful. And Gabe, oh Gabe. Bow-chicka-wow-wow. Come to momma ;).

The first book didn't hook me completely, but because of the way it ended I needed to get on to book two. Although at no fault of the story itself, I came in expecting not to FanGirl so it took awhile for the glitter in my veins to start spreading. After the twists, and turns, the information uncovered and the relationship changes for everyone I was so involved in this story, the world around me faded away and I spent the rest of the day in a readers coma, ignoring the dogs barking, the child complaining, even to Hubby's stomach had to wait! By the end of book two I knew I was in head deep so I didn't even pause before devouring book three. And to be honest once again I had reservations. I know how some authors would have ended this story in ways I would have enjoyed. I pictured multiple way it could go, and more paths emerged  as I read on. Finally I was able to see the perfect ending. And I was not disappointed! I read as fast as I am possible of to see if this author would see my same vision, or use some plot twist to redeem an ass hat and give him an HEA I didn't think he deserved. And I was pleasantly surprised when I turned the last page and was completely fulfilled with the ending.

The story is well written. Well edited and easy to follow. The flow is smooth And the dialouges are good. I enjoy a bit more then is in this story, but I still enjoyed it. The twists are well thought out and the villians a perfect mix of crazies, masterminds, and suprises.

I didn't leave the trilogy without closure, I closed the pages feeling like everything was right in the world. And, I'm also happy to say this trilogy will be in my YA top 10 recommendation list <3

I'm Giving it a great big sparkling 4.5/5!

Peace, Love, & Happy Reading My Hooliganisms!

Jem's review of Hunted By Magic by Jasmine Walt

With the sudden disappearance of Iannis, the Chief Mage, Solantha has erupted into pandemonium. Citizens are rioting in the streets, the Mages Guild is on a misguided warpath, and shifters and humans are fleeing the city in droves. Ridden with guilt, Sunaya defies the Mages Guild and goes off in search of Iannis, trekking into dangerous, uncivilized territory to try and make things right. But Sunaya's relationship with Iannis isn't the only thing at stake -- if she doesn't find him soon, the Resistance might just succeed in plunging the Northia Federation into a devastating and bloody civil war.

I'm in love with the series again. Let's just say that this book has found it's way back and is running with the story again as the first book did. It didn't drag at all and kept me entertained through the book, in fact I had to tell my other half to shut up several times as he kept trying to talk to me whilst reading. Note to all non book nerds everywhere, do not talk to someone who is deeply into a book as the reply may not be pretty! I promise I've made it up to him though ;)

I think that Naya has started to grow and mature in this book, I have to admit that I was starting to get a bit irritated with her in Bound by Magic, she was running off on her own, not really working as a team and forgetting some pretty important things. She has redeemed herself in my eyes though & I'm loving her again just as I did in the first book. I also loved that Fenris had a bigger role to play in this book and that learnt his secret, or at least one of them as I think he may have a few more in the Dark cupboard.

Annia also had a much bigger role in this book and I do like her, but my only criticism would be that I'm not loving her yet as I feel that I'm not connecting with her completely. I am hoping though that she still has a big part to play in the next book, and hopefully some of that will be kicking her sisters butt as that really needs to be done.

We're also starting to get somewhere with the feelings between Naya and Iannis, although not completely there yet. There was one very hot scene in this book, which I'm hoping we may see more of in future books. They language also got more colourful in this book, but that doesn't bother me at all, I don't really have the sweetest of tongues myself.

I'm so glad that this series has got its pizzazz back, and will just take the second book as hopefully a very small blip in what is looking to be a great series. I'm looking forward to the next book, I'm just hoping it comes soon, and hopefully it'll be a longer book too.

Jem's review of shh! By Stacey Nash

Nineteen-year-old Olivia Dean has the perfect reputation, the perfect boyfriend, and an increasingly perfect CV. She has it all, until Christian breaks up with her in public, calling her out as a self-gratifying sexoholic: the kind that plays solo. But Olivia doesn’t masturbate all night — the only thing she does is sleep … right? Now all the boys on campus seem to want her attention for the absolutely wrong reason — including resident hottie, Logan Hays. He's pulling out his best moves to gain her attention, so resisting his sexy charm is hard work. With rapidly slipping grades, a disturbingly lurid reputation and demanding parents, Olivia must discover the truth behind her rumoured sleeping problem. If she doesn't, the perfect life she's worked so hard for may slip away, including the one person who has Olivia breaking all her rules — Logan. What do you do when you’re asleep?
***
Shh! is a story about acceptance, learning to trust and in turn love while facing life's unexpected difficulties. NB: This book is of a mild heat level, and contains no explicit sex scenes.

Wow, I loved this book a whole lot more than I thought I would. I found myself getting so pulled into the story that I forgot everything else around me (not so good when you're travelling on public transport & forget to get off at your stop)

To start with I'd just like to say how glad I am that this story is set in Australia & that the author didn't give in to the pressure to set it in America. I get a bit bored of so many books being set in the US, particularly if the author is not from there, that it was refreshing to read a story set in another country for a change.

Stacey Nash has picked a very difficult subject for this book, one which I'm pretty sure 90% of people are not aware of as I certainly wasn't. I think the subject, the surrounding fall out from it & the way the main character, Olivia, deals with it is highly commendable.

I loved Olivia's friends, they are the kinda friends that everyone deserves to have and Logan, oh my! He is sexy and caring with a little bit of the bad boy thrown in too, he's my very new book boyfriend. Also, that kiss! I think that is probably one of the most hottest kiss scenes I have ever read, and it was a very tame scene compared to a lot of books, it was just hot.

There were also characters to hate in this story and the ones I disliked the most were Olivia's parents. I hated them and wanted to bash their heads together so hard that hopefully it would knock some sense in to them, sadly I don't think that would work, but it would definitely be worth a try. Stacey is very good at giving some depth to even the minor characters which to me is always a sign of a good author as there is nothing worse than a flat character in a book.
Overall I enjoyed this book and I recommend giving this one a read as I don't think you'll regret it.

Ti's Review - My Commander (Bewitched and Bewildered #1) by Alanea Alder

How do I start this review!!! This book was hilarious, romantic, scary, aggravating, and so much more. But the biggest thing, I couldn’t stop laughing! I cried from laughter most of the book and couldn’t put it down. I was hooked form the very beginning. Now this review is going to be a lot different than my other reviews because well……………. you will just have to see. I promise you, you will laugh.

In the beginning The Alpha Unit (you will find out about them when you read the book, no spoilers here) are talking about their mates and how to find them. Well events happen and Meryn finds herself in a paranormal world, captured by the Alpha unit. When she is locked away in room by Aidan, The commander and leader, she freaks out. (For good reason I mind you). Aiden tells Meryn she is his mate and things go downhill fast. Meryn hits Aiden on the head with the lid of the toilet bowl (classic) and tries to escape. After calming her down and talking things out. She is relaxed and has tons of questions. Mind you while I’m reading this whole scene I’m busting out laughing because Aiden had it coming, you don’t kidnap your mate, lock them in a room and attempt to feed them stale food.

Events continue which I won’t spill because you need to read the book but I will talk about “The Mission” and trust me this will have you rolling. Meryn is starting her period and tells Aidan what it’s like for a human and let’s just say he didn’t take it well. He thinks she is bleeding internally and will die.

“Since it happens every month I don't think she'll die from blood loss. What's the mission?" Darian asked. "She needs tampons. Evidently it helps with this process. We have to secure the location of where they are being sold, acquire them and then get them back to my mate post haste." "You can rely on us Aiden.”

So the men head to the nearest store to purchase tampons for Meryn. When the guys find the tampons they are not sure what size to get and Keelan freaks out when he finds out what they might do.

“Sir, I don't know if these are safe. There is a warning about toxic shock syndrome. These things can kill!" Keelan dropped the box he held and wiped his hands on his pants. The other men immediately dropped the boxes they had been holding.”

Aiden freaks out at this point and then from nowhere old man Bart (I love this man) tells the guys to buy the pack that has multiple sizes. So the guys grab an armful of tampons and go to check out. Bart asks about Aiden’s Mate and  advises him “Better get you some chocolate bars. You can throw those from a distance” At this point I think the guys are terrified for the girls and Bart is having a good laugh.

The book has is steamy moments and its fun. But there are parts in the book that are dark, scary and makes you feel bad for the characters. I was attached to this book the moment I started reading it. Once I was done with book one I bought the rest of the series. I can’t wait to see what the other mates are like and if any of them can compare to Meryn (she is a special breed of human) I have a feeling, this series can only get better and I hope there is a mission in every book!

Quotes:

-“Holy shit balls! Papa bear is freaking awesome!” Meryn whispered. Five sets of eyes immediately went to her. She stepped behind Aiden. She heard guffaws and peeked out to see the fea Elder was laughing and wiping tears.

- Somehow, knowing that her badass mate was going tampon shopping made her cramps a little easier than normal.

- “Better get you some chocolate bars. You can throw those from a distance”

-“Since it happens every month I don't think she'll die from blood loss. What's the mission?" Darian asked. "She needs tampons. Evidently it helps with this process. We have to secure the location of where they are being sold, acquire them and then get them back to my mate post haste." "You can rely on us Aiden.”

-“I am not cute. I am a ferocious killing machine. Paranormals everywhere tremble before me."

"My teddy bear.”

-“Why are you being loud? Is it fun being so loud, this early in the morning? Do you know what happens to loud morning people? They die. They die horrible deaths, mutilated in their sleep, and are then buried with their balls in their loud fucking mouths.”

-“You're doing just fine. You've done everything exactly as I would have done. Have you studied battle strategy?" he asked. "No, but I do play World of Warcraft." "Sounds useful, you'll have to show me later.”

-“Sir, I don't know if these are safe. There is a warning about toxic shock syndrome. These things can kill!" Keelan dropped the box he held and wiped his hands on his pants. The other men immediately dropped the boxes they had been holding.”

-“What are these? They look like scars." Meryn glanced down and realized he was talking about her stretch marks. Had he never seen stretch marks before?”
“Those are called stretch marks."
"Stretch marks? How did you get them?"
"Human females get them when we grow. If we grow too fast our skin rips apart and heals. It's a very painful process." Meryn lied through her teeth. There was no way she was going to discuss stretch marks after the most mind blowing sex of her life. Nope. Wasn't going to happen. Aiden's expression became reverent.
"Human females are amazing creatures, you endure so much pain yet are so fragile." He kissed each shiny line.
I'm going to hell.”

T Review - Sexiest Man Alive by M. Clarke

I had no words when I started reading this book. I was glued from the very beginning. I felt really bad for Nathan and wished I could hurl Olivia off the side of the cliff (Come on girl you would leave that!) After reading more and more into the story I caught myself skipping a lot of the book. I loved the writing but the love triangle didn't sit well with me. Nathan and Olivia are destined to be together but they both need to get over their pride and just admit it. Most of the book I was screaming come on already just kiss her! I hope we they get together in the next book (PLEASE OH PLEASE)

On of the highlight of the book is Josh and Jax are a hoot. I loved those to! There were a breath of fresh air and I wish to know more about them in the next book. Also what is the story is Isla! I know her and Josh are just friends but there is something there.

Now to the man I hated in the book................ Troy. Just the though of reading about him more gets my blood boiling. I knew he was trouble from the moment I read about his character. He is a sly devil and Olivia deserves so much better! AND THAT ENDING!!!! Please let him fall off a cliff or get some help M. Clarke, I hate the man.

All in all I liked the book, but I didnt love it. I hope the next book is way better and Nathan and Olivia put their pride aside and get together.

Quotes:

“People say love can heal and it can mend your soul, but in my case, it broke me and changed me. I was in a dark place, and I didn’t know how to get out.”

"Something was happening. I wasn't looking for this. I didn't want this, but for the first time, I wasn't thinking of Olie. There was no guilt. There was no sadness. Just...me..."

Britt's review of The Grimoire Saga By S M Boyce.

So, where to start!
This could be a long one so sit back, get comfortable, and enjoy my demented ramblings.
Usually I let the crazy out from the get go, but this time I'm going to keep calm. I hear the First Vegabond whispering "peace Brittaini, calm".

Okay, so the back story. (Mine not the books! Muhahaha)
About a week ago, I participated in a launch party, in which I won multiple books and even a necklace! One of my hoard of treasures was The Grimoire Saga By S.M Boyce. It was the last of my winnings, so by Brittaini logic it should be the first I read right?! So that's what I did.

Now I had full intention of reading book 1 & reviewing & repeating, until the saga was over. But! Low and behold, my intention was not met. I started Lichgate and didn't stop until Illusion was finished. Now I have to review it as a Saga because that how Brittaini's mind works, these are no longer 4  individual stories, but one continuous one, labelled and stored together. And That one story is full of AMAZING!

Now before I get into the review, lets give them Soul Windows a treat.
These are the beautiful covers of Lichgate, Treason, Heritage, and Illusion.

Now I'm thinking you're probably saying " Okay Brittaini tell us about the book now please!" So I'll stop dwaddling and give you the blurb.

" Experience the haunting world of Ourea from the beginning as Kara Magari uncovers a secret door in the middle of the forest—a portal that transports her to Ourea, the hidden world full of terrifying things.
Where she is successor to The Vegabond, inherting his magic, knowledge, village, and the 1000 year old ghost himself. This epic series challenges traditional notions of good and evil, pits monsters against each other, unravels the secrets of magic, and showcases the power buried within us all.

From betrayal to seduction, romance to murder—the Grimoire Saga has it all."

And it really does have it all. I cannot say enough good things about this series. So before I overwhelm you with the squee of the newly awoken FanGirl, let's see if I can find something to critique.

Umm. I'm thinking hold on.
Ummmm.
Kay nope.

Oh wait! I just got it. I know that in order for the whole story to unravel she has go fall into this library, but I just don't see an experienced hiker taking shelter in a random door in the side of a mountain. But hey! What's Paranormal fiction without a little "anti-reality", and unezplainable pull. Which kinda makes my critique pointless. Well, crap, I tried.

FanGirl time!!

The heroine in this story Kara, is amazing. She's believable, resilient, strong, and resourceful. She makes mistakes and learns from them. She has amazing morals. She loves and grieves. She's loyal to fault. She's pretty Fricking amazing, and I loved reading and seeing the growth in her. I really wish she would have caved to the Vegabond a bit more, he was her best resource and she failed to use it to its best potential. Sure hearing him in her mind might be intrusive, but he was there anyway. I'd have been chatting his chilly ass off.

Braeden -The " Hero"- is an amazing male lead. He's painted as a monster in hiding for a bit, but I felt it in my blood factory that he had a heart of gold and a will as strong as diamond. And he did not let me down. He's the perfect balance of Alpha protector, and Doormat to the woman he loves. I absolutely adored this character.

The Vegabond himself plays little part in the day to day of this Saga but when he makes an appearance he really does a job of it. He is by far one of the best characters. His relationship with Kara and the evolution of it is something to watch for sure. I believe even with his mistakes he was an AMAZING man when he lived. And he deserved the reverance of the people of his world.

There are some amazing supporting characters in this book. Twin simply breaks your heart at first but you see the amazing Second she becomes. Richard the former Blood(Royal) was clearly an amazing King and becomes an amazing addition to the side of good. Gavin goes through so much, and loses his way. My heart warmed in Heritage and Illusion with his story in mind. Stone made me laugh, and his mystery has me intrigued. And that's just to name a few!

The story is amazingly well written, and edited. It flows, and urges and draws you in. The author seriously deserves some snaps. *snap snap*. I really urge you, my reader luvs, to buy these books. Read them. Enjoy them. Treasure them.

They are the perfect series for a supernatural, Paranormal, or fantasy fan.

On a side note, just to be a generous genius she threw in the first book of her spin offs. It's Stones story and I am so excited to read it. I have so many questions about him! But before I break the seal on that fantabulous-ness, I need to get this review and its FIVE STAR rating up and live! I hope you enjoyed my thoughts and will follow through and 1-click this Saga! I promise it's 100% worth your time!

Britt's review of DemiGods & Monsters by Raye Wagner. Sphinx series.

First can I say, whoever this cover model is, I'd like to know where I can order me some of him. I'll have sweet dreams tonight ;).

Now on to the reviewing stuff.

UGH! Another one!
And I say that with the utmost respect.
I LOVED this one too! And was heartbroken when the end came to soon. Another well written, 5 star deserving read.

Since most of Ms. Wagners reader will not have read this yet I will try to be as respectful of spoilers as I can, but I make no promises.

To follow the form of my review on Curse of the Sphinx, let's get down to character evaluation.

Athan: I was so upset for Athan in the end of Book One. He truely wanted hope, you could tell he wouldn't listen to his father's advice. But, Hope heard what she did and split. I knew we would open this story with him searching for her and he didn't let me down. He proves to be loyal and resourceful, and even when things are strained he always has Hopes best interests in mind. I was thoroughly impressed with how he handles competition for Hopes attention, which brings me to the newest character:

Xan: Now this guy seriously greases my gears. From his snarky attitude, to the marshmallow inside, armed with dimples and tatz, he is a Bullseye on the Brittaini's Book boyfriend lust..I mean list. YA or not.. Nummy. I am so #TeamXan. Not for hope.. For me. Lol.

Hope: Speak of the devil.. Or Sphinx as the case may be. I loved her character growth, she's actually doing something for herself for once. She may be following her mentors schedule for the most part but all her motivation is self centered and I say it looks good on her. She's faced with the boy issues but you can tell where her heart is, and I think it's great that she sticks to her guns even in the face of DemiGod Candy and confusion.

Now, Krista doesn't make an appearance but we go get some more snooty twats, and egotistical males to annoy our main characters. If I could throat punch Obelia, I totally would.

And, without treading on ice that's too thin I must say Hope certainly has some big players in her corner. I may even be able to forgive a little bit of Apollos crazy curse urges for how he handled his sons! Just saying.

5 out of FIVE all the way. I'm bouncing for book three!

Britt's Review of The Curse of the Sphinx by Raye Wagner

First I have to say, Greek Mythology in reality + Cursed Heroine = Gonna read it regardless. But, I did receive this book as part of a launch for book two. And, honestly... I want to nah-nah-na-Boo-Boo everyone who didn't take advantage of the offer :)!

It took me approximately a chapter to get hooked, and I was fed bread crumbs the whole way through until the end. Which, I must say hit me like a brick wall. Not only did my reader heart mourn the fact there wasn't more to read, it was a total cliff hanger. Now, normally I really dislike cliff hangers, but this one was well written and created a great need for book 2.

Let's talk about some of these lead characters.

Athan: without spoiling to much, this son of Hermes leaves me on the fence. I really don't like that he leaves Haley's theory of trying to make our heroine jealous UN confirmed. He is after all HERMES son. I want to see that he's genuine. But, other than that complaint he's a pretty amazing male lead. He thinks like a guy, but in the end almost always does the right thing. (If he has the facts ;). ) On a side note his aunt makes this frigging book lol.

Hope: It's really hard to critique her. This is the first story I've read with a Sphinx as a main character. So she's kind of setting the bar for future characters such as herself, and its set pretty high. She's definitely a teenager, she has her insecurities and she makes her mistakes. But she's strong, mentally, emotionally, and physically. She gets through some tough times with nothing but her on strength of will. So far I'm incredibly impressed that I'm still on the heroines side. Normally half was through the first book a heroine will annoy me enough that I lose interest.

Haley is an amazing best friend even if she's flakey lol She just kind of happeneds I'm still at a loss in where her loyalty popped in from :).

And let's talk about the evil bitches that every highschool has. Krista. I wish I could Bippity-bobbity-Blow her head off. Mission accomplished with this one Ms. Wagner, touché.

All in all I am satisfied. Which is actually saying a bit. The writing is well done. They story is creative. The Cliffhanger makes me gravitate towards NEED for the next book. Cannot wait to see what's to come :)! I'm going to give this a 4 out of FIVE. If the next book is as awesome I see no problem passing out stars like party favors. If you like greek mythology, this is definitely a series you want to miss.

Britt's Review of The Black Mage Series (1-3) by Rachel E Carter

Black Mage Series

Where do I start with this? Well first off I'm going to say Lurrrved it. Second, I'm going to mention that after a week or so of my Twin telling me I HAD to read this series, I picked it up. And guess what?! I didn't put it down. One and a half days, that's what it took for me to read book 1, 2, &3. Not because they're short, but because I neglected life to find out what's on the next page!

Since I didn't stop to write between books I'm going to review them as a set, as I can't recall where one ended and the next began lol.

Rachel sets us off into a world that may seem familiar. Kingdoms of magic users, knights, and commoners & rebels, fighting over power. But, even though the storyline is generally predictable, she definitely puts a new spin on things I felt was refreshing.

Ry, our female lead was on my good side for the first two books. But in book three I really want to yell at her! She's grown so much, but the decisions she makes in the end peev me. I understand she's got to make mistakes for the drama of the story, and to be able to have something to fix but jeez Ry! True love means NOT keeping secrets. I want to beg her to reconsider. But that's all I'm going to say about that!

Darren on the other hand, I had a pure unbridled hate for, I mean pigs blood.. Really?!. Until I understood him better, that hate was unwavering..its starting to waver though. I'm a pretty big grudge holder, (Ask Blake, from the Dragonian series, he's earned forgiveness too but I'm not giving it.) so I'm still not 100% TeamDarren yet.. But it's hard to stay mad at him when the heroine is starting to take his place. He slowly earns your trust back, and makes you want one just like him.

The cast, aside from the main characters are fantastic. Alex is perfect logical, and even headed... Until he's not. Ella is really a perfect best friend figure. Even being born to privilege she's very down to earth. I fell in love with poor Ian, even with the turn of events! His feelings seem so genuine even after you find out where his allegiances lie. Priscilla is the perfect rich and snooty 'plastic' frenemy. You can tell she thinks she's alpha bitch, but you also see a lot of it is just to protect herself from Highborns expectations. I felt bad for all she lost, but she should've worked harder, and maybe been a better person. And Derrick.. I don't want to talk about. I'll cry. I was really rooting for him :(

All in all the story line is great and creative. I'm a very impatient reader so a lot of the information provided during anticlimactic scenes seemed a bit much, but was worth reading through when you did get to something awesome!

If there were editing errors, I didn't find them! :) Although I can say my attention was firmly on the story, not the grammar. A lot of my review may sound as if I didn't like it, because of the characters. But, I most certainly love ANY book that can evoke those emotions from me -good or bad- for the characters. Rachel does an amazing job of making me FEEL, and that is so important to a good story.

The Cover art was nice, it didn't hold my attention. But, I also have no complaints about them, theyre beautifully done. I enjoy seeing the Authors interpretation of their characters! And I feel they do project the right images for each book :).

I'm super excited to read The Last Stand. I NEED to know how this ends. Will it be a Happily Ever After? Who is going to die before this ends? Will family bonds be broken forever or will they find a way to mend? I. Cannot. Wait! So if you haven't read The Back Mage Series yet I'd highly suggest you get caught up before this fall ;).

My personal rating is 4/5 stars. I enjoyed the story, it was well written and any complaints I have are personal pet peevs and have no reflection on how this book deserves to be rated. It didn't knock out any of my top 5 favorites, but it definitely made top 10. And when you read a book a day, I'd say that's quite an accomplishment! Congrats Rachel E Carter, you've earned yourself a new fan for life.

Jem's review of Heroes by Ednah Walters

Heroes are not born. They rise out of love and duty.  What if you have to choose? Book 2 of Eirik Trilogy continues the story of a god and a Mortal girl...

Eirik wants nothing more than to show Celestia—the Witch who pulled him out of the darkness—that his feelings for her are real, but his parents expect him to avenge a wrong done to his family. To make matters worse, Celestia is moving on and is already dating another guy. Then Eirik discovers she is the key to accomplishing his goals. Caught between love and duty, Eirik will do whatever it takes, including getting up close and personal with Celestia, to get his way.

Celestia is convinced she is drawn to Eirik because of the bond created by the dragon's kiss, so she pushes him away. But when he comes to her for help, she is once again thrust into his world, where things are never what they seem.

From Earth to the realms of the gods, betrayal follows them and help comes from unexpected sources. But when the time comes for Eirik to choose, will he fulfill his duty or follow his heart? Everything rests on his shoulders as the wrong choice may lead to Celestia's worst fear—the rise of the Harbinger of Death.

Jem's review

Heroes starts a few months after the end of Demons and picks up with Celestia back home with her family & friends and Eirik adapting to his life as a dragon shifter and living with his parents in Helheim.

Eirik is searching for his grandmother, Angrbodr and his sister who is not dead as his mother Hel assumes. He is also not staying away from Celestia as she asked, although come on who really believes she doesn't want to see him, but he is visiting her cloaked so she cannot physically see him.
Eirik & Celestia are reunited thanks to his mother, who I think is secretly playing matchmaker, and the adventure continues with them searching for Angrbodr, but also dealing with the murder of witches in the community. Which ties in nicely with Raine's story in Seeress, which also has me wondering if there is more to that overall story arc than I originally thought.

I have to admit that Eirik has not been my favourite characters from the Runes series. I think it was partly because I saw him getting in the way of Raine & Torin and then Cora & Echo that I never grew to love him as I did the others. He started to grow on me in Demons when we got to learn more about him but I think this is the book where I really have fallen in love with him and I think he, along with Celestia may now be one of my favourite characters, although no one can ever top Torin.

I'm really happy with the way Eirik & Celestia's relationship develops in this book, and without giving too much away the thing that I was waiting to happen throughout the whole of Demons finally did in Heroes.

I can't wait to read Gods next and see if my theory about Eirik's sister is correct. I'm also looking forward to reading more about Hel as I really love her character and all the complexities she has.
This book deserves more than the five stars I've given it as the world that Ednah Walters has built is captivating. The way all her characters, even the small ones, have depth to them is part of what keeps me entranced in her world's.  Ednah is one of those authors who's books I will pick straight up and re read over again. If you've not already been sucked into Runes series then I recommend you go & give them a try as I predict you'll end up loving them as much as me.

Ts - Dragon Marked (Supernatural Prison #1) Review

I didn’t think Jaymin Eve would make me love one of her Characters more than Brace from First world, but Holy Sweet Alien Babies she did. Braxton, Maximus, Tyson and Jacob, the Compass Quad. ****DROOL****

So I guess I should write my review now. Jessa Lebron is the main character, she is a wolf shifter and alpha, with a bit of something extra. She lives in Connecticut, a center for the five supernatural races: vampire, shifter, fey, magic users and demi-fey in the US. She also lives by the prison for the most deadly of creatures, which kept for the safety of the rest of humanity.

Jessa speaks her mind and doesn’t care who I listening. She is part of a pack with the Compass brothers and they are one tight group. I was so jealous when she slept she curled up in a Braxton/Maximus sandwich. That girl is so lucky. One of the things that I liked the most about her was that she can eat anyone out of house and home. She doesn’t care what anyone thinks. This girl loves her food and dessert, I suggest don’t get in her way when she is eating. She might bite your hand off in the process. I know there is something going on between Braxton and Jessa but I have a feeling I will find out more in the next book, I have a feeling they are true mates but she never took the time to realize it.

The story is a whirl wind in itself, but I couldn’t put the book down. You learn about the dragon marked and that Jessa has a twin sister. We find out why her mom abandoned her and what the big bad family secret is. I understand why Jessa is hesitant in the begging but it was good to see that she was able to warm up to her mom. I won’t give any more spoiler out but this is one of my fav books for far. I purchased the second book halfway through the first because I knew I was going to read the second book right away!

Jaymin Eve published a fantastic book and I can’t wait to see what happens with the Dragon King.

Favorite Quotes:
-“Dammit, it’s not fair,” I growled.
“Your dragon has them all cowering like rabbits.” One of the weaker shifter animals. “Why is it that no one shows my wolf her due respect?”
He laughed. “It might be a dog eat dog world, but ... a dragon eats everyone.”

-“The smallest smile finally graced his face as he handed me a paper plate. Nestled in the center was a slice of lemon cake. I stared at it for a moment before a tear escaped the corner of my eye. Braxton laughed.
“You are still the only supe I know to cry about cake.” I sucked down my sob.
“There are very few things in this world which can move me to tears.” I hugged the plate close to my chest.
“This is just beautiful.”

-“My dragon decided that no one hurts his Jessa.”

T's - Unleash the Storm Review - 3 out of 5 stars

I really really wanted to love this book. But I couldn't.

Piper, Ash, and Lyre continue their journey to save the Dragonian's, save the underworld from the destruction of Samuel and save earth from an all-out daemon war.It started out fairly slow and we to the learn more about the history of the Draconians and the Taroth line. I liked how we got to meet new characters and get some fresh faces in the story.

Now I hate to bash a book but I'm going to have to. Piper drove me crazy. Shep kept whining about 50% of the book about where she is going to do, does Ash want her around, her world is different than Ash's so they can never be together, blah blah blah. Half the time I wanted to the book and not read it anymore but I wanted to see how it was going to end and Lyre saved the book for me (such a cutie and deadly) Piper has little character growth and I was really disappointed with her as a character,

Ash he grew as a character but was really closed off as always. He needed to protect his people and the ones her loved. There was a scene between Ash and Piper that made my heart melt. "I don't belong to anyone, the only one I want to belong to is you" SWOON. With the events that tool place on the book (sorry no spoilers here) I grew to like Ash more and more. He was a power to be rivaled with and a born leader. He kicked some major TUSHY

Lyre, my dear sweet Lyre. The mysteries and secrets that you hold. I loved that you were in the book so much more than the other books. I cant wait to read more about you and see what mysteries you hide from us. You are deadly and oh so smexy,

The battle scenes were off the hook and well written, I loved the epic battle between Piper, Ash and Samuel. I wish we could have read about the battle on each with Ra, Gains and Samuels army. But at least we got to see the aftermath......sort of.

I did like the scene with Natania and Piper in the end. That was a bittersweet ending and I'm glad it ended the way it did,

Now here are my biggest issues:
Where is the romance with Ash and Piper. I feel like it severely tanked and there was no character growth. "I love you but I can't be with you, so I'm going to leave you, but I'll come back and visit." "I'll be waiting for you as long as you want me." "Oh I love you to" Happily ever after............snooze fest. I feel bad for writing this review but I need to be honest.

AND what happened with the Consul? Myisis? Caldor? Quinn? Where is Lyre going? Why is Piper being such a pig headed person. I have so many Questions...........I really hope we get a novella or something to wrap up the series.
